Tashana Thomas is a 2006 graduate of American Intercontinental University, where she received her dual MBA in Business Administration in Marketing and Human Resource Management. In 2004, she completed her undergraduate studies in Business/Hospitality Administration at Georgia State University, in Atlanta Georgia. Ms. Thomas is an avid proponent for education, so much so that she has taken courses in hopes of earning her PhD from Capella University in Nonproﬁt Management. Ms. Thomas has put her education on hold to expand her role as the CEO for Beyond Business Solutions, LLC (BBS). Ms. Thomas has over a decade of business consulting, marketing, product sales and project management experience. Her business success comes from her ability to build and maintain solid relationships with those around her; coupled with her vast experience in the business and hospitality industries.
Ms. Thomas’ entrepreneurial career was fueled by her early involvement in her high schools’ Youth Apprenticeship Program which led to employment with the Marietta Conference Center and Resort (MCCR) as an Apprentice and Front Desk Agent. After her stint at MCCR, she was employed with the Georgia Hospitality & Travel Association and Hospitality Education Foundation of Georgia as a School-to-Career & Training Coordinator.
She assisted with the start-up and implementation of the ProStart™ and Lodging Management Program curriculum in over 70 high schools across Georgia.
After her graduation from Georgia State University, Tashana received a manager’s position at the Georgia Restaurant Association. There, she managed the ServSafe® Food Safety and Alcohol programs at the state level and has generated millions of dollars in educational product and workshop sales. Tashana holds food safety certiﬁcations from both the National Registry and the National Restaurant Association Solutions. She is also a registered ServSafe Food Safety and Alcohol program instructor.
Ms. Thomas’ accomplishments are not by chance, but by hard work and determination. Aside from working and establishing a thriving business, she enjoys reading, cooking, playing with her two dogs, mentoring local high school students and spending time with her mother and extended family.
